Prince Bio is undergoing major works at Trégor Nautisme

Gérard and David made a long list of things that need doing after the five years of intensive cruising in Northern waters. We impressed upon Nicolas the importance of starting the work early and he obliged by pulling Prince Bio out of the water almost immediately.
Unfortunately, as he and his team went over the boat, they discovered a few additional problems - some due to the rough weather in Ireland, some due to the contact with the power line in Norway, and some others of mysterious origin. Most importantly, the keel was moving slightly relative to the hull and Nicolas discovered that at some point Prince Bio appears to have been crushed between a large vessel and a dock. Not an impact, just a lateral compression, but it had literally bent Prince Bio out of shape.
The good news is that repairs are well under-way and Prince Bio will emerge from the winter restored to her former glory.

Gérard et David ont préparé une longue liste des travaux à faire après les cinq années de croisière intensive. Nous avons insisté auprès de Nicolas qu'il fallait commencer les travaux aussitôt que possible. Il a donc sorti Prince Bio quelques jours plus tard.
Malheureusement, Nicolas et son équipe ont découvert quelques problèmes additionnels - certains dus aux mer déchainée de l'Irlande du Nord, certains dus au contact avec une ligne électrique en Norvège, et d'autres d'origine mystérieuse. Les découvertes les plus importantes étaient que la quille bouge relatif à la coque et qu'à un moment donné dans le passé, Prince Bio a été écrasé entre un bateau important et un quai. Il n'y a pas eu de choc, simplement une compression latérale. Le bateau a été littéralement tordu.
La bonne nouvelle est que les réparations sont très bien avancées et que Prince Bio va sortir de l'hiver complètement rétabli.
